Estate Tree Maintenance & Specialist Clearance at Cobham Hall

Works Carried out

• Formal Hedge Trimming: Using precision long-reach trimmers, our team neatly sculpted the formal hedging framing the main building, creating crisp, clean lines that complement the stunning Tudor brickwork.
• Tree Safety & Deadwooding: We systematically worked through the estate’s mature canopy, removing dead, dying, or structural hazard wood to ensure the grounds remain safe for staff, students, and visitors.
• Large Oak Clearance (Joint Operation): To clear the massive fallen oak quickly and efficiently without causing disruption to the grounds, we partnered with NPC Tree Surgery and their huge woodchipper, we were able to chip the timber directly into the lorry for fast clearance, and off-site recycling!

August 2026 and the team were back at Cobham Hall for more Tree Maintenance.

• Magnolia Grandiflora Reduction: These Magnolia’s around the house had begun blocking light within, and were in need of shaping to match the now tidy formal hedge. Using precision hedge cutters and a keen eye for detail, Michael and the team transformed these overgrown Magnolia’s into perfect oblongs to match the windows and entrance to Cobham Hall.

• Avenue of Lime Trees to be Lifted: This beautiful avenue of Lime Trees leading up to Cobham Hall School has stood for over 40 years. The low hanging branches were beginning to interfere with the footpath access. Careful selection of branches to raise the canopy above 6ft provides the clear access needed whilst maintaining the natural shape and feel of the avenue.

As with all our heritage estate projects, every area was swept, cleared, and left tidy ready for visitors.
